A elf as tiny as your pinky lives amongst the rose bushes, perhaps there is one right now amongst your flowers, this elf however has witnessed a murder, a family betrayal most foul, so what must he do? A child passes to God’s kingdom, and rose-bush brings memories back of a life past by, and a tale of obsession and fixation towards a pair of red shoes leads to a terrible demise. Welcome listeners to your dose of Fairy Tales.
Today’s three stories are by Han Christian Anderson, an author of over 3381 works, but did you know that he once a weavers apprentice, that at the age of 14 he moved from his hometown to become an actor, had a passion for travel, and absolutely hated…school. Describing it as, “The Darkest and most bitter time of his life”. Just fascinating – what’s more, apparently the story of The Ugly Duckling was thought to be a story about himself.. So join me for three tales that you may not have heard from his collection
