Welcome listeners to a brand new set of stories – in fact, they’re IRISH Fairy Tales by James Stephens in 1920. There are 11 stories in this book, and I’m going to go through all of them, in time. Today though I;m starting at number 1 – The Story of Tuan Mac cairill; a struggle of willpower, defeat, new hope, and a tale as old as time itself. We learn about Finnian the Abbot of Moville, and Tuan Mac Cairill, a god in his own right, from multiple lineages, with a rich history to share with those that are willing to listen. I’ll link the book in the show notes, and I want your feedback on whether you enjoy the story!
