I’m slowly learning how to use Gating (which is the process of eliminating sounds at a certain frequency) along side Artifact Smoothing, (which is the process of ironing out the sharp clicks and pops) for this Old Time Radio Episodes. Even though I’ve been doing this for years, I hope you enjoy today’s episode which is The Killing Story of William Corder and the Farmers Daughter, otherwise known as the Red Barn Murder. 🔪
🛏Well known as a notorious murder of 1827, in England. Maria Marten shot dead, but why, and who? And the strange circumstances in which Maria’s mother was made aware of her daughters passing. Strange fact, the very same Barn that housed that murder was stripped bare by souvineir hunters – aka looters – and sold at the markets during that time….really messed up, and definitely would have been critical evidence of what took place. 🙀
