💜 Wel­come my love­ly lis­ten­ers, it’s Mon­day and that means Old Time Radio episodes. Remas­tered and ready for your bril­liant ears. I’m slow­ly learn­ing how to use Gat­ing (which is the process of elim­i­nat­ing sounds at a cer­tain fre­quen­cy) along side Arti­fact Smooth­ing, (which is the process of iron­ing out the sharp clicks and pops) for this Old Time Radio Episodes. Even though I’ve been doing this for years, I hope you enjoy today’s episode which is The Killing Sto­ry of William Corder and the Farm­ers Daugh­ter, oth­er­wise known as the Red Barn Mur­der. 🔪

🛏Well known as a noto­ri­ous mur­der of 1827, in Eng­land. Maria Marten shot dead, but why, and who? And the strange cir­cum­stances in which Maria’s moth­er was made aware of her daugh­ters pass­ing. Strange fact, the very same Barn that housed that mur­der was stripped bare by sou­vineir hunters – aka loot­ers – and sold at the mar­kets dur­ing that time….really messed up, and def­i­nite­ly would have been crit­i­cal evi­dence of what took place. 🙀
