493: A Bitter Old Man and There is “No Escape” [Haunting Hour]

A man with­out a heart…never used to be so cru­el. Scorned by the loss of love…corrupted by bit­ter­ness and jeal­ousy of those around him. And there is No Escape from the mad­ness in ones mind, and those that can detect it…

A father is cor­rupt­ed by what he once loved. He used to be kind, he used to care, and he used to know, what love was. But you see he still knows what love is, and it’s in that know­ing, and los­ing that has warped his mind…and has shaped in into the old, bit­ter, and spite­ful man he is now. And killing a human being can wreck the psy­che of anoth­er, in fact, mur­der can plant he seed of insan­i­ty in ones mind that anoth­er, could capitalise…and when they are at the last of their wits…well…there’s No escape.

Wel­come lis­ten­ers to two Old Time Radio episodes, “Peo­ple in the House” and “No Escape”. Both tales were curly ones to clean up, I did well on the first I think, but the sec­ond tale was far trick­i­er. Either way I hope you enjoy these sto­ries mate, they were so much fun to remas­ter!
