“Beneath the Crim­son Sky” fol­lows Joseph Schroed­er, a sci­en­tist trapped in a world rav­aged by a mutat­ed virus born from the Cher­nobyl dis­as­ter and the fallout’s radi­a­tion. When the out­break hits his research facil­i­ty, Joseph nar­row­ly escapes the zom­bie-like infect­ed, only to be sur­vivors called the Skin­ners — grotesque, half-dead beings who decay. As Joseph fights to sur­vive, he descends into the depths of an old facil­i­ty where he dis­cov­ers prop­er­ties.

Joseph’s jour­ney explores themes of body hor­ror, sur­vival, and the grotesque cost of redemp­tion in a dying world.
