This series sees us fol­low the adven­tures of a pri­vate eye, a detec­tive, based on the hit sell­ing books writ­ten in 1939.

Titled the Hard BOILED Crime sto­ry col­lec­tion – with the lead Philip Mar­lowe him­self, a wise­crack­ing, hard-drink­ing, tough pri­vate eye, Mar­lowe is con­tem­pla­tive, philo­soph­i­cal and loves chess and poet­ry. Unafraid of dan­ger or phys­i­cal harm, he does not dish out vio­lence mere­ly to set­tle scores, but to teach those who pit them­selves against him, a les­son.
