G’day Gday you lovelies. Today’s episode top­ic is, Ital­ian Fairy Tales! Yup! And I’ve got my Red Bal­loon, Rubeus tea, and am ready to share the tales! Our first sto­ry is Myr­tle, where the gods take pity on a hus­band and wife, pro­vid­ing them with a child….completely of myr­tle! A fairy child in fact, whose beau­ty attracts the love of a prince – beau­ty enough that he’d give his own eye for it.

And your sec­ond tale is The Peruno­to, a sto­ry about mag­ic, good deeds, and the true pow­er that the fae can bestow on oth­ers. Both these tales are real­ly dif­fer­ent, and I like the pac­ing, and char­ac­ters – par­tic­u­lar­ly the dia­logue between The Prince and the Myr­tle child – a sort of poet­ic pin­ing for these lit­tle fairy queen. Now mates, turn the lights off, the sound up, and let’s get cosy, with tales from Italia!
