652: Crime Clas­sics — Brute and Guile Pirates | Kha­sis Folk Tales of How the Ani­mals…🦘

Wel­come you lovelies, I’m back and as promised a dou­ble episode. The first half are tales of Ori­gin, folk­lore tales straight from 1920, with How the Fox got his White Breast, How the Tiger got his Strength, Why the Goat lives with Mankind, and How the Ox came to be the Ser­vant of Man. Four Tales of why ani­mals behave the way they do with humans, and all the way back in 1920 there was com­men­tary on not wast­ing food and plun­der­ing the plan­et, which I found fas­ci­nat­ing.

Also, your sec­ond sec­tion of this episode is a remas­tered old time radio from the Crime Clas­sics vault, called Coyde and Richard­son – two unlike­ly friends, and pirates, plunger and pil­lage their way through a num­ber of boats, peo­ple, and eventually…a ship captain…whose wid­ow will get the best of them.
